Venue Tour!

Well, after days of nothing but meetings, today all 300 of us are off to see the Olympic Venues! So I have to run and get clean (in front of the full length mirror in the shower - ugh!), so I will update when I get home tonight (if I say it, I have to do it). Until then, I will leave you with pics I took at the meeting yesterday. I call the collection.... "Sea of Laptops"

Note: The two people in the pics are my good friends Eloisa (from Ottawa!) and Jason (from St. Louis... but still a good guy).

Eloisa Thinking Hard... or at least putting on a good show!

Jason "LOVING THE FACT" that someone, once again, is asking a question that they find "EXTREMELY IMPORTANT".....some people really like to hear themselves talk

"Sea of Laptops" - and this is only a quarter that were in the room....

So very random.... I came across your blog while trying to connect to mine and was intrigued. I just spent 3 months in China (Dec-May) teaching english and then traveling around. There are some spots off the beaten track that if you can get to are simply amazing!!!! Yangzhou (near Guilin but much better!) is a gorgeous, relaxing, little chinese town. While there stay with Yangzhou Culture house (its a hostel but has private rooms too). Mr Wei is the sweetest man, and amazing 7-10 course dinners are included in the price of the room (plus breakfast and lunch too!) Geez there is so much more that I can share with you if you are interested. I had the best time visiting China.. I wish I was still there!!
