Once Bitten.....

The last few days have been insanely busy for me... of course we are taking our clients to Olympic events (Tennis, Badminton, Swimming) etc. so I am not complaining by any means... I just hope that my lame excuse for not blogging in 2 days will hold a little water.  A LOT has happened in the last 2 days, but I will not go into any of that.  I, instead am going to write a short and sweet blog tonight and then get up and fill you in on the rest of my adventures tomorrow morning before work... I am sacrificing 1.5 hours of sleep for all y'all!

For this blog, I am going to expound on the virtues of the CPP - once again... I love my hotel and the people in it.... but.  Two nights ago, I was bitten by something.  I am praying to the big man upstairs that it was not in my sheets, but actually outside somewhere - but man was I bitten.  At first I thought that they were plain mosquito bites... but within two hours, I was certain that this was no mosquito - or it was some mutated version of it's North American relative (perhaps they are spending too much time in the clouds with all of the rockets that the Chinese govt are shooting up there?

I am more convinced that it was a spider or some other unidentifiable insect - reason I am saying this is because I LITERALLY grew 2 extra elbows!  Now, I have had my run in with several insects, spiders and other poisonous animals on my travels - the 'brown recluse spider' in australia, the jellyfish incident off the coast of Italy (and to this day I can't believe my friend Amy would not pee on my arm to save my life!) - but these wonderful bites did have me a wee bit concerned as they kept growing and growing!  I was popping reactine like pez at a 5 year old birthday party...   After two days of heavy self prescribed antihistamine therapy I now have what look like two LARGE mosquito bites on my arm and seem to be out of the woods and in the clear.  Here is what my arm looked like 2 days ago:

What the???
Can you spot the real elbow?

The weirdest part was that they do not itch at all... humph.   Here are some more interesting (and creepy) things/signs I have found in my travels around the city.... Hope you enjoy.  I will post about all the events and such tomorrow morning my time.  Thanks again for all the comments etc.  on the blog and send emails!

As if teletubbies weren't creepy enough... edible teletubbies candies????
Young race?  For Children?  I will give up.  Don't get it.
This one is beyond me.
I love the no smoking sign... it is worth a full read, but my fave is: "Let's hands in hand to be far away from tobacco."
